Easy Remedies for Sunburn Blisters

1. Cold Compress

Cold compress is an effective treatment against sunburn blisters. It reduces the possibility of inflammation and relieves you from the stinging sore. For treatment, dip in a clean towel into cold water, and then wring out the excess water. Place the water on the sore spots. Repeat the treatment a number of times. Before long, you can feel the results. As a note, please do not put ice to the sunburn directly. It only worsens the blisters’ condition. 2. Aloe Vera

Sunburn blister can be relieved with apple cider and white vinegar. For treatment, mix some vinegar and cold water. Wet a clean soft cloth with the mixture and dab it softly on the sore spots. The solution will take up heat from your skin, relieving you for the burn feeling. As alternative, you may spray vinegar right onto your skin to relieve your skin. A mix between vinegar and honey can also be used to sooth the burn area. Use it daily, once a day.

4. Oatmeal

Oatmeal can be used to relieve sunburn blisters. That is for real. It quickens the healing process and calm down the burning sensation. For treatment, add 2 cups oatmeal powder into a bathtub of cool water. Dip in for about ½ hour or more. You can put in the rose petals for more refreshing sensations. As an alternative, wrap a cup oatmeal powder in a clean cotton cloth, and then boil it up for several minutes. Let it cool down for a while and then use it as sponge substitute while you’re dipping in cool bath.

5. Turmeric

Turmeric is known to have natural antiseptic which will help to cool down the pain and skin inflammation due to sunburn blisters. For treatment, blend two tablespoons turmeric powder and some water, stir thoroughly into paste. Put the paste on the sore spots and let in to seep in for about 10 minutes. As other alternative, you can mix turmeric powder, yogurt, and barley into paste. Apply the paste on the blister, let it sit for ½ hour then rinse off with clean water. Repeat the treatment once in a day until the blisters disappear.

6. Potato

To calm down the burning sensation, you may use fresh potato. It also relieves the pain and quickens the process of healing of sunburn blisters. For treatment, clean a fresh potato, cut into several chunks, and put it in a blender. Blend it into paste. Put the paste on the sore spots and let it dry. Then, rinse it off with fresh cool water. Do the treatment regularly day by day. As a note, sliced cucumbers also have the similar effects to the potatoes.

7. Tomato

To cool down the burning sensation, you can use tomatoes. Furthermore, it can quicken the healing process. For treatment, put ¼ cup tomato juice (or you can use tomato paste) into 1½ cup buttermilk, mix them thoroughly. Put the mix to the sore spots and let it sit for about ½ hours, and then rinse off with cold water. As other alternative, you can pour 2 cups tomato juice in bath water and dip into it for 10-15 minutes. A mix of mashed potato and shaved ice can also be use to relieve your pain. Just apply the mix onto the sore spots.

8. Baking Soda

The naturally alkaline in baking soda is very effective to calm down sunburn blisters. The itchy feeling often occurs and the blisters can be removed by the ingredient. For treatment, put in ¼ cup baking soda into warm water in your bathtub, mix well. Dip your body in the water for about 20 minutes. A mixing of baking soda and water can also instantly relieve your burn sensation when applied on the sore spots. Baking soda combined with vinegar will quicken the healing process of your blister.

9. Chamomile

In time of emergency, chamomile can be a remedy for your sunburn blisters and all the symptoms accompanying it. For treatment, mix several drops of chamomile oil and 1 tablespoon almond oil. Put the mixture on the sore spots. Do the treatment twice in a day to stop the pain and itchy feeling. You can also utilize several bags of chamomile tea. Put the tea bags into ice water for a while, and then use it to cool down the blisters.

10. Lettuce Leaves

The inflammation and pain from sunburn blisters can easily be removed with lettuce leaves. Take several lettuces leave and put them on water. Boil them up for about 10 minute and strain the water. Put the water in the fridge for several hours. Dab the cold water on the blisters few times in a day. As alternative, you can put a freshly out-of-fridge lettuce directly on the sore spots. Repeat the treatment few times in a day until the blisters disappear.
