1. Beeswax Pellets Balm
With the help of microwave, you can prepare and make DIY lip balm in 5 minutes so it is complication free. Make sure that you have washed your hands thoroughly and use only clean equipment. Pour the beeswax pellets within a small bowl (glass will be okay) and then put it into a microwave for 45 seconds. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil and place it again in the microwave for another 45 seconds. If everything hasn’t melted yet, add another 30 seconds so everything melts perfectly. Add 3 drops of peppermint oil and 5 drops of lemon oil and put it inside the microwave again for another good 15 seconds.
By using a syringe, fill the lip balm container. Make sure not to overflow it. This recipe works for 5 to 6 regular containers. If you use a rather bigger container, it can accommodate 3 to 4 items. Just let it be because it will harden on its own. However, in case the mix starts hardening when you are still filling out the containers, microwave it again for 15 seconds so it will stay melted. That’s it! Your beeswax lip balm is ready. It smells nice and it feels great on your lips. It’s not hard to do the DIY lip balm, is it?
2. EOS Cupcake Balm
What if you want to make an EOS lip balm? As long as you have the EOS container, this is pretty doable. First of all, make sure that your EOS container is clean without any excess substance. Take the EOS lid and put some Vaseline to the lid with the help of a cotton bud. Use only thin crease. Add some accents or sprinkles on it. Set it aside and let it be.
On another bowl, add beeswax (a tablespoon), coconut oil (also a tablespoon), a little vanilla, and a vitamin E capsule. Put it into the microwave. If you don’t have one, you can place the bowl (containing the mixture) on simmering water. Be careful, this process can be dangerous because of the heat. After all of this DIY lip balm ingredients melt, pour it to the EOS container. Place the lid on its place and let it cool before placing it into the fridge. After an hour or so, your cupcake EOS lip balm will be ready.
Basically, there are still many other recipes out there. You only need to get creative with the recipes and make sure to use fresh ingredients only. Feel free to use natural fruits for your DIY lip balm, such as lime, strawberries, blueberries, etc.
